Okay, it's time to get down to the real business at hand. I've been holding off posting these photos cause I sent some copies out to Nina and Vince.

We went home to New Zealand to be part of our best friends' wedding. It was such a beautiful, emotional time and I'm so thankful we get to participate in celebrating something so special with people we love so much. I shed so many tears and got to hug and talk to so many people that we see and miss so much.

*gush*

Anyway, there are a quite a few photo's of the day and the time afterwards. So let's get on with it.

Kind of gives a funny view of Seoul, but these are the areas we always go to. I love the Palace at the end of such a wide street and the mountains in the background. So beautiful. 

We shall visit again soon! Not under such sad saying goodbye circumstances this time. More of a party time with friends and christmas shopping.

Views from the ferry to Seoul.

The sunset was so amazing. The views coming into Seoul were futuristic. I felt like I was on another planet. 

Aside from the horrible snoring Korean in our dorm (which resulted in us seeing amazing meteors, getting our own room and me having the most epic dream ever) the trip was spectacular. 

I got no photos of this beach. But it was one of the quietest spots we stopped. We almost went right past it but decided to go back just as we hit the bend. And boy was that a good decision. 

We had the place to ourselves! And, upon thinking we had ordered pizza and a corner store, we were picked up by a man and taken to his pizza place just out of town! It was superb pizza, superb swimming, and superb coffee around this place! 

My best friend, Nina, is an amazing artist and she finally got around to putting some stuff up on the interwebs. Lets have a wee show case shall we?

This is a drawing of her fiance's (so soon to be husband, also my best friend and I look forward to being IN the wedding eeee) sister with her new little babe. I love this picture.

On the first day of New Zealand summer our beloved friend hosted a Hangi. Believe it or not I didn't take a single photo. What a loser. 

We arrived late anyway as I had to work and then we had to drive there, which is about 5 hours.

Anyway, we passed through this little town, Shannon. I've always been pretty transfixed by the buildings in this town so this time I stopped. And it just so happened that on of the biggest building had had a big fire. Of course, for photographical purposes I was delighted, though I did feel a bit sad. That building likely wont be there for long. It's probably gone already actually.

More from the South.

I think the first two are on the drive to Milford Sound. Shall I rave about how amazing it is again? Nah, Ya'll just have to come down and see for ya selves.

Milford Sounds. Way down south. 

It's like nothing you will experience anywhere else down there.

The mist and abundance of waterfalls. The height of the cliffs that surround you 360 degrees. 

The feeling as the boat approaches the opening of the sound to the ocean that your on the edge of the world. That there couldn't possibly be anything else out there.

AMAZING. Big and cold and how did people live in them in the winter? 

The bike ride there was amazing though.

With only one miner crash by my companion. We wrapped her hands in plastic bags because thats all we had. And I'm pretty sure we were in bed by 9 or so.

This is also my year of finally getting some shit I really wanted.

Like some nice fitted pants.

This film is maybe the most cohesive set I've ever taken. Not to mention that the top two photo's turned out better then one could have imagined. 

Anyway, it's Berlin. If you didn't know from previous posts.

Teufelsberg in Berlin. Also known as Devils Mountain. The mountain was man made after WWII. It's made of all the rubble of the buildings, which were heaped on top of an old Nazi school that they tried to destroy but it was too strong. Which makes sense to then just cover it with all that rubble. But anyway. On top of the hill is an abandoned monitoring/listening station. It's pretty sweet. There were way more people there then we anticipated but it was still amazing and the views were to die for. They are even going to get their own post.
