Found a film I had forgotten about! 

Here are the last few photo's from Nina and Vince's wedding. Such beautiful memories. I wish we could be back there.

Good grief, these photos are so old! But whats new around here, eh!?

From when we drove north from Christchurch in a camper van. 

I'm pretty sure this is Taupo.

Well, days like these are certainly gone. 

Kind of gives a funny view of Seoul, but these are the areas we always go to. I love the Palace at the end of such a wide street and the mountains in the background. So beautiful. 

We shall visit again soon! Not under such sad saying goodbye circumstances this time. More of a party time with friends and christmas shopping.

In Wellington. Toast and cake. The cutest cat (who moved just before we did, mush to my relief!). Brian the Pryon with the hurt wing. Plants, plants, plants, which all died when we went home for christmas. 

Hopefully we can get some of these kinds of things for our wee house soon.

So! We are in Korea now. Living and what not. We start our jobs on Monday, which is nice as it means we have the weekend to look around. 

However, this blog will remain in the past for awhile. I have so many photos to share from films developed right before we left. Suits me though! Gives me time to look around my new city for inspiration and see how what my representation is going to be.

I've started us of with some nice sky moments.

The full moon at Jacob's parents house and the clouds shrouding Mt Ruapehu and Ngauruhoe (aka Mt Doom, yet again.)

These are from, like, a year ago. (wince) so bad. BUT aren't the lovely? Top one is from Waikanae beach near Wellington. We had such a lovely day, albeit having to hide from the wind in a huge rock. Where we picnicked of course.

The other two are from the Milford Sounds trip with my parents/whole family. It was so moody and amazing. These really capture how it felt. 

Things have been pretty busy here. I finished uni and graduated and we got accepted for teaching jobs in Korea. We are pretty excited to leave and join some good friends over there but goodness we leave so soon! We leaving Wellington in 3 weeks and New Zealand in roughy 5 weeks. Yikes! So soon. I have so much sewing I want to do before we go, but I'm (trying) to be realistic and realise I can't do all the sewing I want. So will just have to go shopping in Daegu (where we will be living), where the shopping is apparently of the Richter amazing.

Anyway, I have a few films to develop before I go. And apparently it's cheap to develop over there. So you can be sure things will be coming, even if gaps between updates are large.

Paris, Oscar Wilde's grave, Paris.

It was so cold by the time we left. The day we walked to see Oscar Wilde the wind was so bitter I almost died. 

(but then we flew out to balmy New Zealand. Later that day? I think so. Only after Jacob was pick pocketed on the train to the airport though. Lucky we were on our way out and had no cash left.)

Surely this is the end of the Europe photos? But I have two films on my desk still. Who knows whats on them.

A couple of sneaky Georgia snaps.

The two dogs at Jacobs host families. They had no names but Jacob called them Black and White. But in Georgian. I forget what the words are, oh well. The Black one went through a bit of strife while Jacob was there. It broke it's leg and the bone was protruding out. Noone seemed to think this was important, let along worth even noticing, so it went unattended. In the end it healed itself and by the time I got there Black dog was bounding around with only a mild limp. And really that just made him look jollier.

Pretty sure the second one is in Borjomi. Which is wear the spring for the water that taste like rain on asphalt and the beginning of the hike we went on started from. You can see more of Borjomi here, and photos from the hike here and here.

AMAZING. Big and cold and how did people live in them in the winter? 

The bike ride there was amazing though.

With only one miner crash by my companion. We wrapped her hands in plastic bags because thats all we had. And I'm pretty sure we were in bed by 9 or so.

So, so, so (so) lovely.

Home.

At home I frolic and rollick with the dog, which never comes to my calls. (I'm calling him in the first photo, he just sat there with his head tilted to one side). I eat soup in the sun and never have to wear my coat. There are babies and chickens. And we listen to vinyls in the garage drinking coffee.

It's pretty nice. 

Can't wait for our next visit.

Of all the countries I visited in Europe last time Slovenia is the one I look forward to revisiting. Not only because I will have a wee babe to visit but also it was so green and lush and stupidly hot. And it has lakes. I love lakes. I love camping beside lakes. I love swimming in lakes. I just love lakes. 

I mean, come on, look at it!

This is from almost a year ago now. 

I would give anything to be back here eating fresh fruit every morning after having dived into the Mediterranean sea for cool off.

Anything.

(but really there are things I wouldn't give. geeze)
