Monday

Last of the photo's from LAST YEAR (opps).
From in Georgia. Outside that church the was the tiniest of puppies. He looked so sad. We tried to give him some bread but I suspect he had worms and his tummy wasn't happy, he looked pretty bloated. He needed some loving. There were so many stray cats and dogs, most of them quite mangy, but I couldn't not pat them. Jacob took to carrying around antibacterial sanitizer to save me from any weird germs they might have.
Such a strange and beautiful place.
(sorry these scanned a bit dark, you can see even the white border is grey. Oh well.)

Saturday

A couple of sneaky Georgia snaps.
The two dogs at Jacobs host families. They had no names but Jacob called them Black and White. But in Georgian. I forget what the words are, oh well. The Black one went through a bit of strife while Jacob was there. It broke it's leg and the bone was protruding out. Noone seemed to think this was important, let along worth even noticing, so it went unattended. In the end it healed itself and by the time I got there Black dog was bounding around with only a mild limp. And really that just made him look jollier.
Pretty sure the second one is in Borjomi. Which is wear the spring for the water that taste like rain on asphalt and the beginning of the hike we went on started from. You can see more of Borjomi here, and photos from the hike here and here.

Thursday

This is from almost a year ago now.
I would give anything to be back here eating fresh fruit every morning after having dived into the Mediterranean sea for cool off.
Anything.
(but really there are things I wouldn't give. geeze)
Croatia... Love You!

Monday

Nice again.
We went to a more private beach Cap-d'Ail. It was amazing. The water was to DIE for.
There was also a little private area where really rich kids obviously hang out and lie on white seats, with fine white clothes for towels, drinking white drinks and wearing white bathing suits.
I guess it made them look more tanned?
We had none of these things and merely basked in the sun and bathed in the sea.
Oh, to own one of those houses!

Friday

Photo's from France!
I'm back on the 'I need to get all my photos developed' bandwagon. See, I got a new camera for my birthday and want to take a roll in it but I have so many to develop already!
Turns out I dropped this one in a cup of tea a while back. And...it went moldy? Thats all I can assume happened. But I like it so Hey! What the hell! Lets roll with it.
This is Nice.
Ah Mediterranean summer, why have thy left me? Not to mention beer guzzling Canadians!

Thursday

Prague. The beer that Jacob is guzzling was fished out of the river with a large stick. Some Police men walked by and appeared only to be inquisitive and amused by our strange antics. It was delicious though.
Snow on the farm. Merging with Budapest.
And lastly, epic Lions on one of the bridges in Budapest.

In Slovenia. Where it was almost too hot. But I wont say that.
My cousin has an amazing vineyard. And the doorway my lovely cousin, Marija, curtsies in front of is the entrance to the wine making...dungeon? It's rather amazing but my camera's not really suitable for dark, damp places such as it was.
Stay tuned for next weeks installment of "going back in time with Jess"

Sunday

Prague you creep. With your darkness, your near by bones, giant hamsters and snow. You've treated us (not that but mostly) good. (I'm way too trusting, there are consequences for that).

London provided us with bastard wings, dinosaur bones, enough art viewing for a life time, squirrels (which I flipped over, new life goal = become squirrel) and this guy, Slothy, who's a little shout out to someone special. You know who you are.

Friday

More Borjomi.
All these photos above are by Jacob on a stroll around the city. Due to my feeling ill I wasn't really feeling the whole photo thing. This day we went to lunch at an amazing Taverna, we had all vegetable dishes but it was amazing. And there was a sweet Georgian guy setting up his keyboards for some sounds. I imagine it to be a rocking place in the evenings.

But it was an amazing place. What with all the forest surrounding the ramshackle 'city'.
