Saturday

Views from the ferry to Seoul.
The sunset was so amazing. The views coming into Seoul were futuristic. I felt like I was on another planet.
Aside from the horrible snoring Korean in our dorm (which resulted in us seeing amazing meteors, getting our own room and me having the most epic dream ever) the trip was spectacular.

Monday

Pyoseon Beach, Jeju Island.
During the summer we biked around Jeju Island. It was awesome, and the island being rather small (200km) our daily biking was never too much. Though, regardless of that, some days were almost unbearably hot, and on the odd occasion smothered in the most overwhelming of stenches.
This was one of my favourite spots, nestled into some trees at a beach where the tide went out farther than I have ever seen. We stayed under that tree an awful long time before realising we would just have to make the trek to the waters edge. (of course it was worth it)
The evening bought some live music. Specifically the most untainted Reggae musicians I had ever seen.
They were a little to highly strung, if you know what I mean.

(the next day we saw a wild dog with her pup! She dug it a wee hole to sleep in before going for a fossick around)

Saturday

These are from before France.
Lord knows I love a good fog.
You can just see me frollicking in that top one. I'm not sure why it came out so dark.
Either way, check out that fog!

Wednesday

Spree Park, Berlin (again, it's our last day)
So creepy. The ferris wheel was being spun by the wind, which was creating the airiest of noises, something like children moaning.
It's really awesome though. And just like all the other places we 'snuck' into there were about 20 or so other people who also snuck in. Maybe not so sneaky after all.

Friday

More Borjomi.
All these photos above are by Jacob on a stroll around the city. Due to my feeling ill I wasn't really feeling the whole photo thing. This day we went to lunch at an amazing Taverna, we had all vegetable dishes but it was amazing. And there was a sweet Georgian guy setting up his keyboards for some sounds. I imagine it to be a rocking place in the evenings.

But it was an amazing place. What with all the forest surrounding the ramshackle 'city'.

Saturday

This house is right across the road from my building. Someone lives in it. Its so cool. They have a little court yard where that tree is. The sun sets behind it and it glows this amazing yellow.

Want to live.
(but am totally thankful that I even get to look at it every day)

p.s. because I don't know when Im going to get my next film developed, and then I don't know when I will be able to scan, I'm going to take more photos on my ipod. Which is maybe not as cool. But otherwise this blog will wither and die. CHUR.

Friday

Ljubljana

Ljubljana is the most beautiful city. A pity on only had one day! But my lovely host showed me how to use the bike system so I biked into town and walked up to the castle and walked along the river. So lovely and Green!

Im in Lyon now, so hopefully in a couple of weeks I will have enough money to develop a film.

Monday

When we moved back up to the Waikato we stopped via Napier to see Nina and Vince.
They have been making a treehouse in amongst the grapevines.
These are photos, though they were double exposed so you'll have to use your brain a little bit in piecing them together.
Oh and the last photo is the lovely Kayla with an over lapping Tugs. I just love it is all.

Wednesday

Yesterday was my birthday. And also I finally got myself my own laptop, which came with a free ipod touch! Epp!! So here are some fun ipod camera photos from my day. I arrived at work yesterday afternoon and there was this amazing cake from Jacobs cousin. Ah-Mazing! Jacob also made me a cake which I have yet to try. And I tried my first ever scrumpy-raro slushy. Which was...interesting, yet delicious.

It was the most beautiful day. Sadly I forgot to get any photos of me in my birthday dress. Third year in a row I've worn the same dress.
Great Job!

Thursday

More from the film. I love how it turned out. Nice and grainy. Life looks fun!
